Madana Phala is the chief drug for Vamana karma (therapeutic emesis), regarded as the safest and most effective natural emetic in Ayurvedic purification therapies.
It eliminates deep-seated Āma and Kapha from the stomach, chest, and head, restoring balance and enhancing digestion and immunity.

It is beneficial in:

• Āma-janya jvara (Fever from toxins and mucus accumulation)

• Kāsa–Śvāsa (Chronic cough, asthma, congestion)

• Kaphaja rogas (Diseases of phlegm and heaviness)

• Kustha (Chronic skin disorders)
